I am currently 'tackling' my assignment on 'Survey Research' and at the same time pondering seriously about my own research question. Hopefully I can complete my first draft in the next few days.
I was browsing through some past Abstracts of Research Thesis done by the NUS PhD students/ex-students yesterday. Some are dated as long as 1981 to the current ones in 2004. I noticed that majority of them were researching into an existing phenomenon/issue so as to confirm they existed rather than looking for a solution to them. I wonder why it's so. Could it be due to a limitation of time or for any other practical reason? Maybe I am being too ambitious... haha.
I was thinking of confirming the problems in the education system here as well as providing a solution to these problems. Let me check out if I am being too ambitious to do this. :)
